She completed her undergraduate studies in the Department of History at Ankara University Faculty of Language, History and Geography. She pursued her master’s and doctoral degrees in the Settlement Archaeology Division at Middle East Technical University. During her doctoral studies, she conducted research in 2008 at University College London in the United Kingdom. Between 2017 and 2019, she served as the scientific advisor of the Örükaya Research Project, which aimed to reveal water management strategies in the rural areas of the Galatia Region during the Roman Period, with the permission of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage and Museums. In the 2019–2020 academic year, she carried out her postdoctoral research at the Research Center for Anatolian Civilizations of Koç University.
